Poppy brought it up. We don’t think she knows very much about blogs. But she knows all about vacuuming. And we’re also very interested in vacuuming.

Let’s not gang up on Poppy. She’s been part of this blog longer than any of you. So. Here’s the deal. We had to stop our posts for a few weeks while our friend Alec was helping us with the technical difficulties. And in the course of things we had to change our name. Our blog now has a new name!

I like new names!!! When I was a kitten my rescue group named me Squeak. I was really glad that you gave me a new name.

I agree, Squeak is a terrible name for a gorgeous hunk like you. But meanwhile you’ll all need to listen up. We are now called carolynscritters.

Glad you succeeded- you bring a ray of light into any day I read of your adventures. I so relate! I spent a long time refurbishing our African Grey’s palace with my daughter Hilary last night. Jasper was quite involved and did a lot of reacting – swift attacks eye rolling, watchful approving. The dogs and cat sat watching every move. Jasper is a lot older than they are and directs everything they do. Most of the time they actually obey him. We lost Nelson our dearest dog last month. I’ve decided that since I will never stop missing him it works to leave the wound for what it is. Oddly my comfort involves looking at Chihuahua reels and ads for Chihuahua puppies I could never afford. We all miss him. The cat was his buddy as a pup. He was 18, she is now 17 and beginning to fail – a feral cat who has learned to cuddle and purr, still bites though. The other chihuahua Nora who is simply the oddest creature I believe to be content that he is gone. He was a friend to the young girl a border collie working dog
