Louie has quite the neighborhood reputation for breaking and entering. He’s been determined to get in here for years. That used to drive Puffin crazy.

Dear Winston,
Did you hear Elsa scream at him yesterday? I was so proud of her! Louie saw the open window and tried to get in. He was stopped by the screen, but she gets credit for hollering at him and telling him to get lost. She may be a dainty little cat but she sure stepped up to defend the house!

We did too!!!! Me and Charlie, we also defended the house!!! Today Louie tried to come through the kitchen window, but it wasn’t open wide enough and he couldn’t squeeze through. We had to yell at him. And Louie yelled back at us. It was SO EXCITING!!!!!

I’m proud of both of you! You’ve all really stepped up to fill Puffin’s shoes. No one is going to break into our house!
